A look back on 2020, the Darvish trade, MTV's The Challenge through three episodes
Happy New Year! Rachel Gerhardt returns to the show on the first day of 2021, this time to discuss life, sports, reality TV, and the year that was.
While 2020 was a very challenging year for seemingly everybody, Rachel and Jack choose to reflect on the year's positives, rather than the negatives. They share the lessons they learned this year, and how God showed up in trying times. They also discuss the GOAT Christmas movie bracket, as well as old shows from the 2000s (thanks to CBS All Access) and how 2000s trends compare to 2020 societal norms (0:00 - 34:20). Later, they discuss the College Football Playoff and Bowlmania (34:20 - 41:15), and share thoughts on the Cubs' trading Yu Darvish (41:15 - 53:15). Finally, Rachel and Jack provide coverage of America's fifth major sport: MTV's The Challenge, three weeks into its new season (53:15 - END).
