Three weeks into the GOAT Christmas Movie Bracket, the voters have spoken, and only two films remain.
Unsurprisingly, Elf and Home Alone have outlasted the competition and will face each other in the championship on Monday.
Here are your results from the Elite Eight:
These matchups left us with a Final four of Elf, Charlie Brown Christmas, The Santa Clause and Home Alone. Congratulations to the Final Four! Our voters did a better job of picking a top four than the College Football Playoff committee did, and for that I am proud! The Final Four, which took place Thursday and Friday, resulted in the following outcomes.
Elf 92, Charlie Brown Christmas 30
Home Alone 86, The Santa Clause 33
And just like that, we're just five days away from Christmas, and we have our championship match. Prior to the start of the tournament, I predicted an Elf-Home Alone matchup, and I was not disappointed. While The Santa Clause is my personal favorite Christmas film, both these flicks are all-time classics that I am very fond of. No Christmas season is complete without a viewing of both films.
